The dating game that does your taxes
View Date:2025-01-11 10:30:53
More than 20 years ago, the IRS struck a deal that gave most Americans the ability to prepare their taxes online for free. Today, only about 3% of eligible taxpayers use the service.
Tax Heaven 3000 takes users on a series of dates with Iris, who will ask questions to help them complete their federal tax return. The game's creator says the aim is to punch up at the tax prep industry, and show how unnecessary it's become.
